History Hib is the dream of Marx and Anita who live on a farm in Northampton with their two young sons along with their chickens and cats.
Marx grew up in West Africa, where his grandmother used to make a drink out of Hibiscus flowers – a flower extremely prevalent in the region. She would infuse the dried calyx from the Hibiscus flower bush and a few other handpicked ingredients, with some water from a local spring – it was renowned in the area and the local children would come around just to drink it.
